PAYMENT - Payment is due immediately upon services rendered. We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, checks and cash and online payments from Paypal.
For your convenience gratuities can also be included on your credit card charge or may be given directly to the Massage Therapist. Please note that there will be a $10 fee for refunds on credit card purchases. In addition, we charge a fee of $30 for all returned checks.
GRATUITIES - As with any service you receive, it is customary to tip 15-20% of your total bill (before discounts including special promotions) or the value of the service. For example, a 15% tip on an hour massage (valued at $85, would be 12.75 and a 20% tip would be $17. A 15% tip on a 90 minute Hot Stone session would be $22.50 and a 20% tip would be $30.
Packages and parties will have an 18% gratuity pre-added to the total due.
Your Massage Therapist works hard for you and gratuities are welcomed and very much appreciated.
GIFT CARD/GIFT CERTIFICATE EXPIRATION - Please be advised that we do not accept expired gift cards or gift certificates unless they are for a specific dollar amount and do not indicate that they are for a particular service.
SPECIFIC THERAPIST/GENDER REQUESTS - Please be advised that we do not entertain specific gender requests for any one at any time.
REFUNDS - Our services are non-refundable.
CONSENT FOR MASSAGE - By utilizing our services, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
(A.) The massage you receive is for the purpose of relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. If you experience any pain or discomfort during this session, you will immediately inform the practitioner so that the pressure, strokes and/or hot stones may be adjusted to my level of comfort.
(B.) You understand that massage should not be construed as the substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and that you should see a physician, chiropractor or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment you are aware of. You understand that massage therapists are not to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, and that nothing said in the course of the session(s) given should be construed as such.
(C.) You affirm that you have stated all known medical conditions, and answered all questions honestly. You agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in your medical profile, and understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner's part should you forget to do so.
(D.) It is also understood that any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances will result in immediate termination of the session.
CANCELLATION POLICY - As with other professional service providers, we adhere to a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. We block out your appointment time just for you. When your appointment time comes and you are late or don't show up, you put us in the position of having to sit and wait for you. Please be respectful of our time. If you need to cancel or are running late, please be courteous and call us right away.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that you will lose your session and may be charged for your services if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time or if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment.
If you do not show up for your appointment and do not call, you will lose all of your sessions and we may refuse to provide services to you in the future.
AGE POLICY - You must be 18 or over to utilize our massage services.
RIGHT TO REFUSE - We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
DRAPING POLICY - Our massage therapists follow a strict draping policy. The client must remain covered by the sheet at all times except for the part of the body being worked on. We do not allow client nudity while the massage therapist is in the room. There are no exceptions to this rule.
PARTS OF THE BODY MASSAGED - We do not offer a "full body" massage. Our massage therapists will NOT massage the breasts, stomach or genital areas. Also, the buttock area is limited to the gluteal muscles. There are NO exceptions to this rule.
